Citizens Of Nowhere?
BY CHINESE ARTS NOW
A funny, moving real-time live audio drama by award-winning writer, Ming Ho, originally directed by David Jiang.
British-Chinese matriarch Linda Lo shares news with her son Jun Chi and daughter, Jane; but Jane has big news too, while Jun Chi is mystified by Linda’s refusal to discuss plans for his upcoming wedding.
This intimate performance by actors seated among the audience is experienced through headphones, as if eavesdropping, and includes light refreshments. The production premièred at Southbank Centre in October 2018 and had a sold-out run at Duddell’s London during CAN Festival 2019. With thanks to Beijing 707N Theatre.
Note: Tickets include a free drink (beer/wine/soft drink). You can order other refreshments and snacks on top of this to enjoy during the performance.
