On Saturday 9 September, join us in the dayime at Thames Barrier Park for a series of outdoor family- friendly performances. And in the evening, we’ll be close by at The Factory with our indoor theatre programme. There’ll be selected food and craft stalls at the two locations.

Then on Sunday 10 September, join us at the home of our East Ham partner Applecart Arts for more indoor theatre shows.

All are free but indoor shows require booking for capacity reasons.

Full Belly Laughs Comedy Night

Full Belly Laughs Comedy Night

Thursday 28 September

Ian Smith Square

Brand new for 2023, FeastFest presents Full Belly Laughs, our first comedy night. We’re working with a leading London comedy producer to bring you a stuffed-to-bursting bill of comedians that’ll have you roaring from the bottom of your stomach.

Join us at Husk Brewing for an evening of comedy, locally brewed beer and burgers.

Joining us will be Ian Smith (Nominated for the Edinburgh Comedy Award 2023); multi-award winning stand up comedian, writer and actor Jenny Collier, Ginnia Cheng, a London-based East Asian comedienne who’s reached the semi-finals of many of the UK’s comedy competitions, Lenny Sherman (Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway) and Michael Akadiri (BBC New Comedy Awards London Finalist 2021), hosted by MC Andrea Hubert.

We’ll be collecting non-perishable goods for a local food bank on the night so do bring along something to donate if you’re able to.

Free tickets can be booked here
(Subject to £1 booking fee)

During October FeastFest will be scooting up at a community centre near you with a tasty takeaway of culture. We’re working with four centres across the London Borough of Newham to bring performance and film screenings from Luca Silvestrini’s Protein and more throughout the month.

In November, FeastFest will be partnering with local businesses and other organisations in the growing nationwide movement to provide a warm and welcoming space for anyone who needs it because of the cost of living crisis. There will be food and drink tastings plus a chance to return to Silvertown’s cinema past with The Albert Cinema Experience, which we’re bringing back following a popular debut in Newham Heritage Month earlier this year.

Digital Bytes is FeastFest’s creative digital programme, consisting of both online and in-person events that make the most of the possibilities offered by digital technology. In our in-person programme, we are excited to present digital theatrical experience Eating Tomorrow by Australian company Post Dining and interactive screenings of Luca Silvestrini’s Protein’s delicious production May Contain Food.

If you can’t join us in person (or prefer a TV dinner!) we also have a variety of productions available online including May Contain Food (on demand), Chan Magazine and Food/Present.
